Whilst the Mayor of Marshmead has a gruff exterior and intimidating physical presence, the Kheperan is known to be generous and compassionate.  Adzoba fled his hometown of El Silat when Chamberlain Llyr outlawed the practice of potion making.  Like many apothecaries, Adzoba made his way to the swampland of Mag Mel.  He was instrumental in developing the town of Marshmead and his efforts have not gone unrecognised - he has held the position of Mayor for almost twenty years.  Along with the Scorian apothecary Garnett Shaw, Adzoba recognised the richness of the mineral deposits at Simeon's Reef and has done much to extract many benefical potions from the reef.

Many years after Adzoba traveled to Marshmead, he was joined by his younger sister Jendayi who sought her brother out, fearing he had been taken by the Magistrates in the purges that followed the Chamberlain's prohibition of the apothecaries.  Whilst of novice in the area of medica materia, Jendayi has been a bastion of support to her brother.
