Anaresis is one of the Cabal.  It is a large creature, at least fifty foot high and just as wide.  Its body resembles a half-empty sack.  It has no skin.  Instead of an epidermis, Anaresis has an outer layer of wet, red tissue and bloody muscle.  Its body is little more than a stomach turned inside out.  Digestive juices keep it moist but also produce a pungent odour that nauseate even the Ghul.  Underneath its amorphous body hundred of small legs struggle to carry the greasy, shapeless body.  At the top of this seeping mass Anaresis' long, slender neck stretches out to a length almost as long as its body.  At the end of this neck was a head no larger than a young child’s.  Large, innocent eyes peered out from a gentle face, effectively disguising the malice that lay within.

Anaresis' vision is extremely poor.  The bulk of its sensory information comes from smell and it will sniff the air continually to assess its surroundings.
