Arinna Brine's skills with magick were known at a very early age.  In the small village of Coldbrook she quickly became known as an incredibly gifted young witch.  Like her mother, she had a wide repertoire of spells and abilities including the ability to hear the thoughts of others.

Arinna's close relationship with her mother was only matched by her friendship with her sister Lara Brand who was adopted when Bith Brand was slaughtered by a marrok.

Whilst respected for her talents, Arinna is also known to be headstrong and volatile, prone to swift shifts in emotion.  Those who know her believe this to be a consequence of being privy to an endless barrage of thoughts her mind endures every day.

Ariina's child Pippa was one of the first children to be taken by the Ghul.
