If it did not spawn in such huge numbers, the arrowfish would have become extinct hundreds of years ago.  It is the easiest fish to catch and is seemingly unconcerned about being caught.  Despite having incredible visual acuity due to having ten pairs of eyes, the arrowfish will shoot itself out of the water around boats, birds of prey and even fisherman standing on the shoreline with nets.

Curiously the arrowfish taste differently to all who eat it.  Some have described it as being incredibly sweet and sugary whilst others have said the fish provides the palate with a delightfully tangy sensations.  Others yet again have claimed the fish to give rise to a creamy taste like shelp milk.  It seems the fish reacts to the dominant or preferred taste of the eater.

The freshwater arrowfish is found in the waters off Palia.  Its sea-bound cousin can be found in the Jurojin Straits and throughtout the Sea of Telamon.
