Aventail is hooved beast with six legs and a long mane of silver.  It is one of the few Cabal to bear offspring of a sort, but its brood bear no similarity to their strange sire.  Aventail's back is covered in protuberances that could be likened to barnacles found on a ships hull.  Aventail can open these 'barnacles' to release its offspring which appear to be little more than amorphous blobs, bearing more in common with bloaters than Aventail itself.  However, there is one distinguishing factor - Aventail's offspring have teeth and they are capable of slicing through a man's legs in seconds.  Aventail can produce its offspring continuously as it gallops around, posing no direct threat to its enemies but at the same time, being the most fearsome Cabal of all.
