Very little is known about Bormanus Cole.  It was a surprise that he came so highly recommended from Prime Minister Lambert of Cephalonia as none of the consuls or ambassadors gathered at the Assembly of Nations had ever heard of him before.

Bormanus was clearly a clever, articulate individual but his political credentials had not been established and as no-one in the Assembly had ever ventured out to the city of Cibola on Cephalonia, they had to take him at face value.

Whilst Cephalonians were rarely seen on either of the Myr's main continents, they were highly regarded by most Myrrans, and Bormanus did not display any qualities that were contrary to this view of his people.
