Callisandra Galley is one of the few witches in the Bregon coven to have a sister.  Sisterhood was not common among the Pryderi who tended to have one child only.  She was close to her sister Meggan and felt the disappearance of Meggan's child acutely. Similarly, when her friend Lara Brand lost her child to the Ghul, Callisandra found feelings or rage rise up in her but had no way to release it.

For a young witch, Callisandra was quite gifted.  In her slight body, the energies of magick ran strong.  She was one of the few witches in the Pryderi who could create incantation of her own and although the effect of these was quite minor, such as changing her red hair black, it indicate the potential for greatness.
