The horned crane stands at nine foot tall and is one of the Myr's largest birds of flight.  It can live up to three hundred and thirty years old which is why it is also known as the Jurojin, the Kompiran word for long life.  The horned crane can fly for extended periods of time and can cover vast distances in its migratory cycle.  For this reason, it has been sighted in almost every land south of the Oshalla Ocean.
