Frequent abductions and attacks by a race of subterranean creatures known as the Ghul precede an even more violent assault by the Cabal, a collection of monstrous behemoths escaping their imprisonment of several millennia.

The Assembly of Nations is held and three assassination squads are formed to seek out the shadowy figure who is behind the savage attacks. The squads are compromised from the start and evil follows at every step. On a lonely, frozen wasteland a final confrontation looms that will decide the fate of all.
