I needed a hand with the composition of this drawing and I found a picture online that had the sort of composition I was trying to achieve. The 'stimulus picture' was in one of the galleries found at: www.daveallsop.com.uk. I dont know anything about Dave Allsop, but he can draw! I'd love him to do a collection based on my writing but it seems he has enough great ideas of his own to keep him busy. Although this drawing is quite 'cartoony' I think it's okay. The horns on the bone helmet work well, but the overall helmet is very disappointing. It just doesn't look like a helmet made from the skull of some subterranean beast; it looks more like a motorbike helmet with two thorns stuck on top!
