I didn't like this drawing as it spilled out onto the page. Something wasn't working. Strangely, I found that the more i scribbled on the page, the better the picture became. It's still not perfect, but it's not bad. It's a bit to ugly for a Mabbit. It see them as being a bit easier on the eye. This is important for the reader, as I want people to be able to see past Tagtug's strangeness to see the humanity that resides within. He should be endearing, which should make the pathos of his situation in the latter part of the book all the more acute.
