The drawing may be a bit of a mess, but the overall impression is what I want to achieve with these petulant, nasty avian creatures. Although the quawk here doesn't look much like the version I cobbled together in Corel PhotoPaint, I do like him. I especially like the ears. The thought of this ridiculous bird have these big, floppy ears is so silly, it works. Likewise the teeth. I think I made the bird suitable ugly and my inability to draw talons actually works in the picture's favour.
