Ana is the eldest daughter of the late King Tobias Carrucan who ruled Acoran for almost fifty years. Ana's coronation in Elidor heralded a shift in Acoran diplomacy, away from the intensely private and secretive paths upon which her father walked. Upon taking throne, Queen Ana announced that Acoran would change its stance towards foreigners and a new era of trade and cultural relations would dawn. However, this rhetoric was short lived, as the arrival of the Ghul and the Cabal stopped the Queen's open door policies from being implemented.

Ana has no husband, nor has she displayed any desire to take one. The immediate successor to the throne is one of Acoran's chief scientists, her sister Claudia Kallady, whose work upon ballistics and propulsion have yielded great results in the far-off outpost of Amasis.
