The Anthropog was one of the last Cabal to be discovered.  Caliban Grayson realised instantly what a great boon the creature would be to him, capable of incapacitating a large number of Myrrans with very little effort.  He had read about the Anthropog long before he arrived in the Endless.  Millenia ago, the Anthropog was said to have killed half of the population of Johannan, reducing many powerful Morgai to stone.   Many of its victims can still be found in lining the ruined avenues of this forgotten city.
