Whilst the ocean surrounding Ceres looks tranquil, few Myrrans would dare approach the city from the sea.  Sharp reefs lies just below the waves and for this reason, despite its advantageous position on the southern coast of Helyas, only the most experienced mariner would regard Ceres as a port city.  There are a number of sea captains who are able to navigate the treacherous reefs and these men and women are paid handsomely for the dangerous undertaking.

To the north of Ceres lies Helyas' agrarian region.  Whilst much of the country is covered by desert and rocky hills, the plains above Ceres are green and fertile.
