Slightly larger than Garlot, Nessa's other major metropolis, Gobnet is considered by many to be the Myr's most cosmopolitan city outside of Cessair.  This is partly due to its position which lies at the heart of a number of the Myr's most important trade routes, but mainly due to the extremely hospitable nature of its people.  Gobnet welcomes all cultures and purposefully sets out to integrate the customs, fashions and ideas of other cultures into its own.

Just like Garlot, the culinary arts are revered in Gobnet and its chefs have been responsible for some of the most adventurous and eclectic dishes to be found in the Myr.  Gobnet's chefs have mastered the art of blending produce from different country's to achieve a highly unique gastronomical experience.

Gobnet's architecture dates back centuries when design was considered more important than function and as a result, its building are highly intricate, beautiful structures accentuated by many curves and spheres.  The layout of the city streets is similarly intricate but no-one in Gobnet seems to mind.  Despite the business of the city, no-one seems to be in a hurry.
